Finder is a Java based utility for scanning directories and/or files for string literals. All files are treated as binary streams, therefore searching is successful through a wide variety of file types including: text, compiled code (e.g. .exe, .class, etc), and archives (e.g. .zip, .jar, .war, .ear).
